These watermark codes survive all forms of packaging and delivery including compression to popular digital formats, burning to CD, streaming and other forms of electronic distribution. The Activated Audio Suite includes secure, lightweight asset management and distribution management services, making it ideal for watermark encoding, distribution management and forensic source tracing. Windows-based and easy-to-use, the Activated Audio Watermarking Suite is available in three versions, offering a powerful and economical solution to various stakeholders in the production, distribution and marketing chain, regardless of size of operation. Microsoft Windows-based, the Activated Audio Watermarking Suite is offered in three editions: The Production Edition, Professional Edition, and Personal Edition . The Production Edition is designed for high volume (production runs of 500 copies and up) CD-R mastering, production and duplication operations. This edition features digital asset and distribution contact management and serial watermarking capabilities through tight integration with the Web Services. It can also integrate third party applications such as copy protection and burner hardware management. Upon request, Activated Content can provide the Production Edition as a turnkey hardware/software solution. The Production Edition has been fully integrated with both Microtech and Rimage automated CD-R publishing systems, both which feature direct-to-disc printing. The Professional Edition , which is ideal for the mid-tier market (production runs of up to 100 copies), is a subset of the Production Edition. It is tightly integrated into smaller volume CD-R burners and is sold as a turnkey hardware/software solution. The Professional Edition has been integrated with Microtech automated desktop CD-R publishing systems and features direct-to-disc printing. The Personal Edition is a subset, software only version of the Production product, and is designed for low volume (production runs of up to 10 copies) PC-based CD-R and electronic file mastering, production and duplication. Similar to the Production Edition, this edition features asset and distribution management through integration with the Web Services. The Personal Edition produces low volumes of watermarked files, stored on the user's hard drive, ready for local burning, compression and electronic distribution. The Personal Edition is sold as software only, and does not include automated burner management or direct-to-disc printing. All versions of the Activated Audio Watermarking Suite include the Activated Audio Decoder. The Decoder is a Microsoft Windows desktop application distinctly separate from the Service Console but tightly integrated with the Web Services. For reasons of security and sensitivity, it allows only authorised users to analyze watermarked and suspect files found either in physical or electronic form. If a watermark owned by the authorized user is discovered, the Decoder will query the Web Services to resolve the watermark value to specific file attributes such as title, artist, and distribution contact . All versions of the Activated Audio Watermarking Suite are integrated into Activated Audio Web Services. Activated Audio Web Services is a centralised and secure Digital Asset and Distribution Management. It provides a global view of all encoding and decoding activities and is offered to customers free of charge when they purchase the ActivatedAudio Watermarking Suite. The Web Services provides asset ( i.e., content), distribution contact and watermark allocation services. The Web Services does not store the content, but captures Meta data about the content. The watermark creation engine is located in the Web Services server and originates and distributes all watermarks ordered by the customers' Activated Audio Watermarking Suite. The engine has the capability to create billions of unique watermarks so duplication is not an issue. Activated Audio Web Services offers a number of benefits to Activated Audio Watermarking Suite customers. It removes the burden and cost of setting up and maintaining a database, provides remote access to check the status of production runs in real time and provides private and secure storage of both asset watermarking and decode reports. |
